Solent Child Care offers a unique experience in Hampshire and Wiltshire for Children and Young People aged 5-17 years of age, requiring 24-hour care and support for a minimum of 28 days for a length of stay dependent on their needs and transition plan.

Our Children and Young People receive 1:1 attention, providing stimulation and fantastic opportunities in a calm environment, our homes are situated within rural and tranquil settings.

Our teams are skilled in PACE and therapeutic parenting, we strive to replicate an environment that is of a homely feel, with clear consistent routines, boundaries and structure for Children and Young People.

Each home provides care for up to 2 young people, the Children are either looked after or Children in need, whom have complex needs and find themselves in a situation where a previous placement has broken down quickly, this could be either a residential placement, foster placement, or within their family.

We do accept same day placements, we must however receive all the correct and up to date paperwork, including an up to date risk assessment and subject to a comprehensive impact risk matching.

We are also proud to be a registered Centre with AQA, we offer each young person UAS awards schemes -   in offering our children and young people the opportunity to have their achievements formally recognized in a variety of activities, social and life skills.
